Margaret Gregory

Margaret Kelly Gregory, 74, of Spartanburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Born September 12, 1937, in Woodruff, SC, she was a graduate of Winthrop College and the daughter of the late Ralph Dillard and Lillie Davis Kelly. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Gregory was also an active member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving are her beloved husband of 54 years, Charles E. Gregory Sr.; son, Charles E. Gregory Jr.; daughter, Kelly G. Whitlock and husband Myles W. "Trip" Whitlock III; grandchildren, Myles W. Whitlock IV, Payton K. Whitlock, and Caroline M. Whitlock; brother, Ralph D. Kelly; and sister, Louise K. Taylor. Visitation will be 1:00-2:15 PM Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Cudd Memorial Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Danny Garrett. Burial will be in Westwood Memorial Gardens.
