Margaret Morrow Floyd, 89, of Loganville, Georgia went to be with her heavenly father on August 11, 2024. Born September 27, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John Curtis Morrow and Martha Jane Morrow of Pauline, South Carolina and was predeceased by her husband of 59 years Robert Harold Floyd and her sister Doris Jackson.
She is survived by her sons Robert Harold Floyd Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Loganville GA; David Floyd and his wife, Christie, of Suwanee GA; grandsons David Kenworthy, Brandon Wood, Nicholas Wood; great grandchildren, Taelynn, Gannon, Noah, Corey, Jacob, Maria and Elliot.
She graduated from Winthrop College and retired from the Dekalb County School system where she was a business education teacher for many years at Stone Mountain High School. She was an active member for many years at Snellville First Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She also enjoyed traveling, painting, ceramics, bridge, and playing the piano.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm Friday, August 16, 2024, at Philadelphia Baptist Church, 3119 Highway 56, Pauline, SC 29374, conducted by the Rev. Kiah Graves. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
