Margaret Edmonds

Margaret Tucker Edmonds, 59, of 320 Patch Drive, died Friday, September 11, 2009, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born September 5, 1950, in Union County, SC, she was the daughter of the late P.D. and Clorese Billings Tucker. She was employed with the Spartanburg County School Transportation Department as a bus driver for 30 years and also worked with Family Connection for the Spartanburg County School System. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Buffalo, SC. Survivors include two sons, Michael Edmonds and wife Tobie of Inman, and Jason Edmonds of Chippewa Falls, WI; a granddaughter, Halen Edmonds of Inman; a grandson, Hayden Millwood of Inman; a sister, Betty Lovingood of Arcadia; three brothers, Jerry Tucker of Pauline, Ron Tucker of Jonesville, and Don Tucker of Enoree; five nieces; and her longtime companion, Michael Webb. She was predeceased by a daughter, Melissa Edmonds; and a niece, Rhonda Tucker. Visitation will be 3-5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2009, at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Jimmie Farmer. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 2053 Mt. Lebanon Road, Buffalo, SC 29321; or to the American Lung Association, 1817 Gadsden Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
