Margaret Parris Easler, 76, of Chesnee went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2011. The last member of her immediate family, she was the daughter of the late Alex C. and Ruby H. Parris of Spartanburg and wife of the late Johnny Gaskin Easler. She is survived by two daughters, Amelia E. Wall "Megie" and husband Ronnie and Deborah E. Lankford "Cookie"; a son, Johnny Mark Easler and wife Cindy; six grandchildren, Jon Mark Easler and wife Valaree, Casey L. Blackwell and husband Jott, Amy E. Horne and husband Dean, Andy Easler and wife Lindsy, Justin Horton and wife Jordan, and Meredith Wall. She was also blessed with four great-grandsons, Grayson Easler, Dax Blackwell, Kane Horne, and Johnny Mark Easler III (Tripp). A member of Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church, she served numerous churches as pianist during her live, known for her own special rendition of "When They Ring Those Golden Bells". She also served as a Sunday School director, teacher, and Bible School director. The family will receive friends at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Larry Easler, the Rev. Dr. Dwight Easler, Jr., the Rev. Torrey Easler, and the Rev. Dr. D. J. Horton. Pallbearers will be grandsons and honorary escorts will be granddaughters and great-grandsons. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Corinth Baptist Church, 190 Corinth Church Road, Gaffney, SC 29341 for the Benji Easler Memorial Playground Fund.
