Margaret Dunn

Margaret Worden Dunn, 69, of Spartanburg, died Sunday, February 17, 2013, at her home. Born May 20, 1943, in Walled Lake, MI, she was the daughter of Lila Torres Worden of Moore, SC and the late Louis Bernard Worden. Mrs. Dunn, a retired English teacher at Dorman High School for 38 years, was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Educator's Sorority and a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband, Bernard Henry Dunn of the home; daughters, Susan H. Dunn of Spartanburg, SC, and Lauren Dunn Bailey (Michael Eugene) of Charleston, SC; brother, Robert B. Worden (Sue) of Atlanta, GA; sister, Shelley Worden Trotter (Bill) of Spartanburg, SC; several aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 4:00 PM Thursday, February 21, 2013, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church by the Rev. Timothy M. Gahan. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church Building Fund, 161 North Dean Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
