Margaret Davis

Margaret Easler Davis, 83, of 255 Church Road, Chesnee, died Friday, September 28, 2012, at her home. Born August 15, 1929, in Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Lee and Alberta Tate Easler. She was a longtime employee in the apparel manufacturing industry and was a member of Boiling Springs First Baptist Church and the JOY group. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Howard Willard Davis, Sr.; daughters, Dianne Davis Wofford and husband Fred of Moore, SC, Renee Davis and Josephine Porter, both of Oak Park, IL; son, Howard Willard Davis, Jr. of Chesnee; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Severne "Dick" Easler and Kenneth "Ken" Easler, both of Spartanburg, Charles "John" Easler of Florida, and Billy Easler of Inman, SC; sisters, Lillian Campbell of Inman and Linda Webb of Lake Greenwood, SC. Visitation will be 5:30-7:30 PM Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 on Monday, October 1, 2012, at Boiling Springs First Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Bobby Lindsey, the Rev. Dr. James W. Crocker, and the Rev. Dr. Hank Williams. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
