Marcia Ann Powell

Marcia Ann Powell, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on September 18, 1960, Marcia lived a life characterized by her reserved and quiet demeanor, yet she profoundly impacted those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Marcia dedicated herself to being a homemaker in her own home, where she created a warm and nurturing environment for her loved ones. Her passions extended into the world of literature, as she was an avid reader with a special interest in horror. 

Marcia is survived by her fiancé, Alan Culbertson; her brother, Larry Powell; and her step-daughter, Cynthia Culbertson (Oscar); and her brother-in-law, Ron Culbertson. Their collective memories of her quiet strength and dedication to family will remain cherished in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents L.B. Powell and Joann Thompson Powell Covington.

Marcia's kind spirit and passion for literature will be remembered by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love, quiet strength, and the joy of imagination through the pages of a good book.
