Major Joe Crane

Major Joe H. Crane, USAF, Retired, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. He was the son of the late William Sanford and Ellie Howe Crane.

A US Air Force veteran, Major Crane retired after 20 years of service. He was retired as a Director of Computer Programming with Farmers Insurance Group in Los Angeles after serving 19 years. He was of the Methodist faith. Joe was the last member of his immediate family.

Joe was everything you would expect in a devoted husband.

A Memorial service with full Military Rites will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Robert L. Brown.
