Lucille Simmons

Lucille Quinn Simmons, 84, of Chesnee, SC, died Saturday, January 9, 2021, at her residence. Born February 22, 1936, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late D. L. and Irene Parham Quinn and wife of 56 years to the late Norman Lee Simmons. Mrs. Simmons attend Solid Rock "The Rock" Church. She was formerly employed with Interstate Brands Corporation and Young Office Supply. Survivors include her son, Bob Simmons (Susan); grandson, Marcus Simmons; great-grandson, Mason Simmons; sister, Dorothy Mae Thomas; brother, Wofford Lee Quinn; and several nieces and nephews. Private funeral service will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Burial will be in Eternal Hills Cemetery, 1565 Oakland Rd., Forest City, NC 28043. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Solid Rock Church, 1326 Union Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
