Lucille Sawyer

Lucille "Luci" Bradley Sawyer, 86, died Friday, January 30, 2015 at Skylyn Place. Born August 30, 1928 in Converse, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Olelia Bradley, and widow of Clarence Patton "Pete" Sawyer, Jr. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include her son, Gene (Marsha) Cantrell of Augusta, GA; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is survived by her special friends, twins Jane and Judy. She was predeceased by her brother, Arthur and sisters, Gertrude and Bernie. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, February 6, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 350 N. Blackstock Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29301, conducted by the Rev. Rufus Chaneyworth. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 350 N.
