Lucille Neomi Waddell Maynor, 87, of Inman, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at her home. Born June 26, 1924, in Woodruff, she was the daughter of the late Levi Perry and Leila Foster Waddell, and wife of the late Emmett Lewis Maynor. Mrs. Maynor was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and a former member of Hayne Baptist Church, for over 50 years, where she was a Sunday School teacher, Women's Missionary Union Director, Vacation Bible School teacher, and choir member. She loved her church work so much she considered it her hobby. Survivors include her daughter, Jill Cochran and husband Cliff of Inman, SC; sons, Phillip Maynor and wife Jackie of Hancock Point, Maine, and Dean Maynor and wife Sandra of Gilbert, SC; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Katie Ruth Earley of Dallas, NC, and Charlene Scism of Lexington, NC. She was predeceased by her daughter, Emmette Brown; grandchildren, Tony Eugene Brock and Leigh Ann Cochran; an infant sister, Marcelene Waddell; sisters, Sybil Burkhalter and Nora Lee Sims; and brothers, Alvin and Paul Waddell. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday, January 26, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, January 27, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. Tim Clark. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
