Lucille Linder

Lucille Goode Linder, 88, of Cowpens, SC, died Friday, June 28, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born January 29, 1925, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Edna Ramsey Goode, and widow of Thurmon Mitch Linder. Mrs. Linder was a member of Central Baptist Church in Cowpens and retired from Butte Knit. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Steven Linder, and survived by her three children and spouses, Gwen and Terry Bryant of Cumming, GA, Barbara and Steve Hopper of Spartanburg, SC, and Michael and Deborah Linder of Gray Court, SC; six grandchildren, Stacey Koon, Matthew Hopper, Caleb Linder, Elaina Linder, Samantha Linder, and Shelly Linder; four great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Dennis Goode, Coffine Huskey, Virginia Fowler, and Bobby Goode; and a very loved dog named Charlie. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 pm Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 5:00 PM Monday, July 1, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. Larry Padgett.
