Lucille Patrick Hogan, 93, of Glencoe, MD, formerly of Pacolet, SC, died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at University of Maryland Hospital. Born April 29, 1920, in Pacolet, SC, she was the daughter of the late Everett Escol and Ida Lee Sawyer Patrick. Mrs. Hogan retired from Mary Black Memorial Hospital as a dietician. She was a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church, an avid contributor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and The Wounded Warrior Project. Surviving is her daughter, June Carole Pace and husband Bruce of Pacolet, SC; grandchildren, Libby Pace, Carole Carter, and Chris Pace; great-grandchildren, Devin Carter, Kyleigh Pace, and Katherine Schapiro; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Elaine Hogan. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Pacolet First Baptist Church, 310 W. Main St., Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Norman L. Band. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pacolet Mills Baptist Church Family Life Center, PO Box 660, Pacolet Mills, SC 29373.
