Lucille S. Charles, 91½, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Born October 10, 1921, in Cherokee Springs, SC, she was a daughter of the late Claude Curtis and Myrtle Mae Burnett Stevens and the widow of Harry J. Charles. She was a former employee of Raycord and a longtime member of First Baptist Church North Spartanburg. Survivors include a son, Michael Charles (Carol) of Inman; a daughter, Trudy Charles Glosson (David) of Pacolet Mills, SC; three granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Bud Stevens and Larry Stevens; sisters, Lemira Page, Sarah Benton, and Judy Prince. She was predeceased by brothers, Buck Stevens, John Earl Stevens, and Joe Stevens and a sister, Janeal Buckner. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Monday, April 29, 2013, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4081 Highway 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Graveside services conducted by the Rev. Dr. Michael S. Hamlet will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Good Shepherd Memorial Park Mausoleum, 4161 Highway 9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
