Lucile Smith

Lucile Liles Smith, 83, of Moore, died Monday, July 19, 2010 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born September 23, 1926 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Thomas William and Mamie Arthur Liles and wife of the late George Washington Smith. She was retired from Raycord Manufacturing and Hersey Products, a member of River Hills Baptist Church where she was a member of the Faith Sunday School Class. Survivors include a son, Craig (Janice) Smith of Cary, NC; a daughter, Dianne (Butch) Summey of Moore; four grandchildren, Brett (Amy) Smith) of Lakewood, CO, Kerry (Larry) Easler of Spartanburg, Michelle Smith of Raleigh, NC, and Matthew (Helen) Summey of Inman; eight great grandchildren, Darren Smith of Lakewood, CO, Connor Smith of Cary, NC, Avery Ashley of Spartanburg, Mattison Summey, Megan Ashley, and Anthony Summey all of Spartanburg, Dylan Smith of Lakewood, CO, and Abigail Summey of Spartanburg; a sister, Doris McPherson of Spartanburg; five brothers, John Liles of Beach Island, SC, Raymond Liles, Glenn (Nora) Liles, Gary Liles all of Spartanburg, and Wayne (Wilma) Liles of Boiling Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Tom Liles. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 P.M. Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at River Hills Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the church, conducted by the Rev. C. Kent Smith. Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to River Hills Baptist Church, 5762 Reidville Road, Moore, SC 29369.
