Louvenia Motts

Louvenia M. Motts, 80, of Pacolet, SC, died Sunday, October 18, 2015, at her home. Born September 16, 1935, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Stella Foster Motts and wife, for 60 years, of the late Tim "Doc" Motts. Mrs. Motts was a member of First Baptist Church of Pacolet and retired after 40 years of service as co-owner of Motts Floor Sanding. Surviving are her children, Janet McDonald and Timothy R. Motts (Reva, daughter-in-law); grandchildren, Mark Revels, Jana McDonald, and Hunter Motts; great-grandson, Karson Parrish; sister, Agnes Lowe; and brother, Edward Motts, all of Pacolet, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Kandi Motts; and brother, John "Sheb" Motts. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Pacolet First Baptist Church, 310 W. Main St., Pacolet, SC 29372, by the Rev. Tommy Sparks. Burial will be in Pacolet First Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home.
