Louise McKinney, 93, longtime resident of 216 Greengate Lane, Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, June 1, 2013, at White Oak Estates. Born April 9, 1920, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Lee Kinkton and Lillie Fehrmann Belcher. She was the loving wife, for 73 years, of the late David Miller McKinney who preceded her in death by three weeks. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. McKinney was a charter member of Morningside Baptist Church, a charter member of The Lydia Sunday School Class, Women's Missionary Union, and former choir member. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and retired from the insurance industry. Surviving are her daughter, Dianne McKinney Floyd (Joe) of Little River, SC; grandchildren, Marion Webber Jacobs (K.J.) of Greenville, SC, and David Hayes Webber of Orangeburg, SC; great-grandchildren, Grayson Webber and Harper Jacobs; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sisters; and one brother. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 5, 2013, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Dr. Kirk H. Neely. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
