Louise Hunt

Louise Christian Hunt, 92, of Spartanburg, died Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born April 7, 1920, in Lawrenceville, GA, she was the widow of Ralph Bureau Hunt, Jr., and daughter of the late James Calvin and Junie May Leaird Christian. She was a member of Una Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving are her son, James Alford Fowler of Spartanburg; daughter, Shirley Fowler Caldwell of Spartanburg; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Lovelace of Greenville and Snowie Horton of Spartanburg; brothers, James C. Christian, Jr. of Spartanburg and John Lewis Christian of Spartanburg; and Jason Orick, who was raised in the home. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, June 1, 2012, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 2, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Kenneth Cash. The family is at the home of her daughter, Shirley Caldwell, 407 Judd Street, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
