Louise Clary Giles, 86, of 400 Webber Road, Spartanburg, died Saturday, October 22, 2011, at McCall Hospice House of Greenville, SC. Born August 15, 1925, in Cherokee County, she was a daughter of the late Alonzo and Elsie Ward Clary and the wife of the late Talmadge Scott Giles. She was retired after 33 years of employment with the South Carolina State Employment Service and was a member of Cowpens First Baptist Church. Survivors are a son, Randy S. Giles and wife Sandra of Spartanburg; two beloved grandchildren, Steed Giles of Spartanburg and Amanda Morin and husband Dr. Brian Morin of Greenville; two beloved great-grandchildren, Alexandra Morin and Giles Morin; a sister, Eulah Lovelace of Spartanburg; a brother, Thomas Clary and wife Louise of Cowpens, SC; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mrs. Giles always enjoyed helping other people and spending wonderful times with her family and friends. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 PM on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Gregory Dry. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
