Louise Gault

Louise Plyler Gault, 85, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, January 14, 2016, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born July 28, 1930, in Chester, SC, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Louise Sistare Plyler. Mrs. Gault was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, New Beginnings Sunday School Class, and the Faith Circle. She received her BS in Music from Limestone College in 1951 and was an organist for many local and out-of-town churches. She also served as a volunteer for Mobile Meals Service for over 20 years. Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Joe Dean Gault of the home; children, Steven Gault (Lou) of Spartanburg, SC, Kevin Gault (Kerry) of Steelville, MO, and Susan Gault (Terry Hopkins) of Spartanburg, SC; and granddaughter, Anna Gault. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Sarah Huey. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 AM Monday, January 18, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 AM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dale Rawlings. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, W.
