Louis Falcone

Louis A. Falcone, 94, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at his home. Born October 23, 1918, in Westerly, RI, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Luzzi Falcone. A World War II veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps, Mr. Falcone was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. He was retired from Indian Head as an engineer, was an avid golfer, gardener, and talented jack-of-all-trades. Surviving is his beloved wife of 70 years, Jane Dargiewicz Falcone; and daughter, Barbara Falcone Mayer of Tolland, CT. He was predeceased by four sisters. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 3:00 PM Friday, December 21, 2012, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, by the Rev. Timothy Gahan. Visitation will follow the service. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, New London, CT.
