Lou Jones

Lou Ellen Green Jones, 85, of Williamston, SC, died Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at McCall Hospice House-Simpsonville, SC. Born December 26, 1931, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Edward Green and Birtha Shook Green. She was a member of Roper Mountain Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Coy E. Jones; son, John Morgan (Sonja) of Belton, SC; and sister, Carolyn Tracey of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, T. C. Morgan; and granddaughter, Monica Morgan. Visitation will be 11:30 AM-1:00 PM Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 PM, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Tim Whited.
