Lottie Gilliam

Lottie Louise Keller Gilliam, 95, of Inman, SC, died Monday, November 7, 2016, at her home. Born August 26, 1921, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Austin Keller and Candace Virginia Bennett Keller. She was the last surviving member of her family of nine brothers and sisters. Mrs. Gilliam loved her Lord, family, and growing the most beautiful flowers. She and her husband also enjoyed traveling. She was manager of the Sewing Department at S&S Manufacturing for 45 years and retired from Hamrick's of Gaffney after three years as manager. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Charles Wesley Gilliam of the home; son, Norman Gilliam (Bobbie) of Spartanburg, SC; and grandson, Wesley S. Gilliam of Greenville, SC. Funeral and committal services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 10, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Rufus Chaneyworth and the Rev. John Cox. Visitation will follow the service at the chapel. Private burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Grove Cemetery, Inc., PO Box 170544, Spartanburg, SC 29301. A heartfelt "thank you" to our special friends, Toni Morris and Sandy Cochran, for their love and support. The family is at the home.
