Lorraine Tabbot Lytle, 84, of Chesnee, SC, died Sunday, May 13, 2018, at her home. Born June 10, 1933, in Brunswick, GA and reared in Boiling Springs, SC, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Stillman Tabbot, Jr. and Mary Abbey Myers Tabbot. Lorraine was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and retired from The J. F. Floyd Cemeteries after more than 50 years of service. Survivors include her son, Max A. Lytle Jr. (Debra) of Chesnee, SC; grandchildren, Abbey L. Bedenbaugh (Jamey) of Chesnee, SC and Max Clayton Lytle of Murfreesboro, TN; great-grandchildren, Lakelyn Bedenbaugh, James Ahren Bedenbaugh, and Max Clayton Lytle II; and brothers, Eugene C. Tabbot of Moore, SC and Milton L. Tabbot Sr. of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, John S. Tabbot. Visitation will be 2:30-3:30 PM Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307 with funeral services following at 4:00 PM, conducted by The Rev. Mike Royal. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at the home of her son.
