Lorine Burnett

Lorine T. Burnett, 91, of Moore, SC went to be with The Lord Thursday, April 7, 2022, at SMC-Mary Black Campus. Born April 26, 1930, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Toll Richard and Lois Emory Thrift.

Lorine was a 1948 graduate of Fairforest High School and a graduate of Cecil’s Business College. Early in her adult life, she was a furniture buyer, but she loved her family so much that she stayed at home to take care of her family.

A devout Christian, she was a member of First Baptist Spartanburg for the last 15 years, previously being a member of Arcadia Methodist Church for over 40 years. Lorine loved crafting and decorating.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Fred William Burnett, Sr., her son, Fred Burnett, Jr. (Patsy) of Spartanburg, SC, her nieces, Barbara Gipson (Dale) of Chesnee, SC and Debbie T. Horne (Ronald) of Spartanburg, SC. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Jeff Burnett.

A private service will be held.
