Lorena Morgan Valentine, 87, of Pacolet Mills, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born April 30, 1923 in Pacolet Mills, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Mary Bostic Morgan and the wife of the late Orville O. Valentine. She was retired from Beaumont Mills and was a lifelong member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church, where she was a former WMU leader, choir member, Sunday School teacher, worked in the Children's Department, and assisted in the church office. Survivors include three daughters, Ann Pye, Maxine Sullivan and husband Richard, and Gail Wilson and husband James, all of Boiling Springs; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 29, 2010 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Mark Williams. Visitation will follow the service at the Chapel. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
