Loree Lawrence

Loree Thomas Lawrence, 87, formerly of Fairmont, died Monday, October 24, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born February 3, 1924, in Clifton, SC, she was the daughter of the late Brooks G. and Mattie Sanders Thomas, and wife of the late Claude Howe Lawrence. Mrs. Lawrence was retired from Startex Mills and was a member of Fairmont United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Annette Martin (John Floyd), Linda J. Hall, and Patricia Blanchard (Ted); her son, Richard Lawrence; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 12:30-2:30 PM Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 PM in Westwood Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev.
