Loraine Gosnell

Loraine "Nana" V. Gosnell, 86, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, February 6, 2017. Born November 19, 1930, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Belton McDougle and Mattie Lee Hutto McDougle and widow of Edward Marshall Gosnell. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Gosnell was a member of Waterloo Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Renee Gosnell Gaddis (Gary) and Terry M. Gosnell (Leslie), all of Roebuck, SC, and Eddie L. Gosnell (Christy) of Laurens, SC; 10 grandchildren, Josh, Amanda, Joey, Tiffany, Beth, Amber, Adam, Christina, Emily, and Breanna; and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy McDougle. Visitation will be 1:00-l:45 PM Wednesday, January 8, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Sal Barone. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at the home of Renee and Gary Gaddis.
