Lois Hyder Inman, 77, of 250 Barksdale Boulevard, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 16, 2009, at Magnolia Manor of Inman after a battle with cancer. Born May 20, 1932, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison and Carrie Brown Hyder and the wife of the late Sam C. Inman. She was a member of Abner Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Carroll Inman and his wife Lynn of Spartanburg; two daughters, Libby Sprouse and her husband Jimmy, and Rhonda Eicher, all of Inman; a brother, Benjamin Harrison Hyder, Jr. of Beaufort; two grandsons, Benji Inman and his wife Tina, and Kris Inman, all of Spartanburg; and two great-granddaughters, Taylor and Hannah Inman. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel conducted by the Rev. Richard A. Clark and Mr. Fred Dowden. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722. The family is at the home of Carroll and Lynn Inman, 10 Damson Street, Whitney.
