Lois Cloninger

Lois Walker Cloninger, 84, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born August 23, 1929 in Red Springs, NC, she was the daughter of the late Loren Leroy Walker and Fannie Iona Warren Walker, she was of the Presbyterian faith. While employed for 25 years with Community Cash Stores, and Ingles for 12 years, she had a love of helping others. She was a very sweet, kind, and generous person who loved her Lord and her family. She was a member of Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband, Robert Cloninger; son, William E. (Debra) Cloninger, of Simpsonville, SC; sister-in-law, Mrs. Cora Smith of Spartanburg, SC. She was predeceased by her brother, Anderson L. Walker. Visitation will be Monday, July 28, 2014 at 12:30 - 1:30 PM at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 28, 2014 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Peter A. Waid. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 1801 Skylyn Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family will be at the home.
