Lloyd Quinn

Lloyd "Rosie" Monroe Quinn, 80, of Pauline, SC died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Inman Health Care. Born August 8, 1930, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Otto Anderson and Cora Fant Quinn. A veteran of the U. S. Army in the Korean War, Mr. Quinn was of the Baptist faith, a Mason, and a member of the VFW and Moose Lodge. He was retired from Southern Railway after 35 years of service. He obtained his Associates Degree from Cecil's Business College. Rosie is survived by his wife of 60 years, Artie Lewis Quinn; two daughters, Nancy Diane Pearson and her husband Ronnie of Reidville, SC and Judy Quinn Stegall and her husband Randy of Pauline, SC; five grandchildren, Brian Garrett, Keith Barnett, Stephanie, Rand, and Nicole Stegall; eleven great-granchildren; and a brother, Charles Quinn of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by a daughter, Kathy ‘Necie' Quinn Tinsley. Cryptside visitation will be 3:30-4:00 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2011 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex. Services will follow at the cryptside at 4:00 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Larry Lawson. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 270 Fairwinds Road, Landrum, SC 29356.
