Lizzie Webb

Lizzie Bea Webb, 93, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, March 27, 2021 at her home. Born November 24, 1927 in Cherokee County, SC she was the daughter of the late Horace S. and Grace Lipscomb Brown and the widow of Garland G. Webb. Lizzie was a member of Ben Avon Baptist Church for over 50 years. Survivors include her daughters, Brenda W. Campbell (Harold) and Anne W. Humphries, both of Spartanburg; seven grandchildren, Keith Campbell, Matt Campbell, Dana Lawson, Christie Humphries, Dawn Brittain, Darrell Satterfield, and W. B. Webb; 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and her sister in law, Ada Wood. She was also predeceased by her sons, Wofford Brown Webb and Marshall "Buck" Webb and a daughter, Wilma Satterfield. Graveside service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 30, 2021 in Goucher Baptist Church Cemetery, 415 Goucher Creek Road, Gaffney, SC 29340, conducted by The Rev. Shep Bevis and The Rev. Richard King. Visitation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ben Avon Baptist Church Youth Fund, 237 Wallace Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29302 or South Carolina Hunters for the Hungry, 507 Amelia Ave., Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family will be at the home of Brenda Campbell.
