Lisa Ruble

Lisa Morgan Ruble, 57, of Roebuck, SC passed away January 25, 2015 at home after a long battle with cancer. Born November 2, 1957, she was the daughter of William Gary Morgan of Commerce, GA, and the late LaVerne Ellis Morgan. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She dedicated her life to raising her family and running a successful business. Surviving are her children, Cari Anderson of Roebuck, Lyndsey (Mike) Means of Roebuck, Layne (Alyssa) Ruble of San Diego, CA, and Blake (KellerAnne) Ruble of Providence, RI. She is also survived by her brother, Mike Sheppard of Texas; sisters, Cathy (Ray) Statulevicius of Ontario, Melody Broquet of Spartanburg, Lynn (Jimmy) Duncan of Norcross, GA; sister-in-law, Linda (Rick) Crumpler of Columbia, SC; and brothers-in-law, Matt (Susan) Honea of Woodstock, GA and Ben (Sarah) Honea of Mine Hill, NJ; father, Gary (Sara) Morgan; mothers-in-law, Barbara Ruble (Bill) Santana and Eleanor Stalvey; and ex-husband, Hal Ruble; many nieces and nephews, whom she loved as her own; and special friend Todd Brittain, of Shelby, NC. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her sister, Denise Culberson Stephens; father-in-law, Howard "Buddy" Ruble; sister-in-law, Sarah Sheppard; brother-in-law, Vic Ruble; the very special grandparents-in-law, Otha and Edna Parker. She was loved by many, and loved many. Her family was the most important thing to her, and she will be dearly missed by all, including her loving dog, Scooby. A memorial in her honor will be held at her home, 946 Canaan Rd., Roebuck, SC 29376, on Wednesday, January 28, from 4:00-7:00 PM and again on Saturday, January 31, from 4:00-7:00 PM.
