Lisa Anne Weisner Pettit, 59, of Spartanburg, SC, went to a much better place on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born February 19, 1962 in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Francis Hoyt Weisner and Gladys Williams Aiken of Lyman, SC.
Lisa graduated from James F. Byrnes High School and Spartanburg Technical College. She owned and operated Pettit Industrial Sewing Equipment Corp. and S.E.W. Inc. (Sewing Equipment Wholesale) for over 25 years.
Lisa was happily married to Doug Pettit for almost 30 years and their relationship spanned closer to 40 years of togetherness and happiness. Lisa was truly cherished and will be missed immensely by her husband and friends. She was a Christian and was a member of the former Lamb of God Lutheran Church.
While she battled a major health issue for the last years of her life, and as hard as this would be, Lisa was truly more beautiful inside than outside, even while suffering.
Survivors include her three sisters, Lynne Sharpe (Carlton), Janet Suttles, Susan Williams, four stepsisters, Carolyn DeShields, Beverly Burrell, Diane Reid and Wanda Stegall. She was also predeceased by a stepsister, Kathy Leake.
A Private family outdoor service at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 20, 2021. In respect for the departed who did not have Covid, please wear a mask for the service.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a reputable charity of your choice.
