Lisa Ann Haddox

October 29, 1970 — October 22, 2024

Mount Vernon, KY

Lisa Ann Haddox, a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, departed this world on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, in Lexington, Kentucky, at the age of 53. Born on October 29, 1970, in Chillicothe, Ohio, Lisa's life was a celebration of love, devotion, and the simple joys that brought happiness to those around her.

Lisa graduated from The Charles Lea Center. Her zest for life was evident in everything she did, particularly her unwavering love for her family and her church, Manna Baptist Church, where she found a community that centered her heart. Her nurturing spirit and deep compassion made her a beacon of light for those fortunate enough to know her. Lisa also enjoyed being a part of the Special Olympics, where she won some metals for her participation.

Known for her vibrant personality, Lisa embraced life with a warmth that was irresistible. She delighted in the comforts of family gatherings, cherished conversations on the phone, and had a particular fondness for listening to music across all genres. Lisa's joy was often found in the thrill of a good scare, as she eagerly indulged in chilling Freddy Krueger movies, providing her loved ones with both laughs and gasps. Lisa found great pleasure in bowling; Lisa also harbored a whimsical affection for the timeless cartoon character Betty Boop.

She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her deeply: her devoted mother, Martha Ann Chapman (Tom); her caring sister, Angela Stafford; her fun-loving brother, Greg Chapman (Hollie); and her cherished nephew, Jeremy Stafford (Caitlin). Lisa was predeceased by a nephew, Eric Stafford.

As we commemorate Lisa's remarkable journey, we invite those who loved her to join us for a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, November 16, 2024. The service will be held at JF Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, located at 2075 E Main St, Spartanburg, South Carolina, starting at 1 PM.
