Lindsey Mcgraw

March 12, 1937 — March 24, 2022

Lindsey Hilliard McGraw, Jr., 85, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022, in Landrum.  Born in Spartanburg, SC, on March 12, 1937, he was the son of the late Lindsey Hilliard McGraw, Sr. and Mary Etta McGraw Nantz.

Mr. McGraw enlisted in the US Air Force in 1954 and retired in 1974 as a Technical Sergeant after proudly serving our country for 20 years.  During that time, he was stationed at Air Force bases in Washington, South Carolina, Florida, Korea, Japan, Vietnam and Thailand.  Mr. McGraw had a passion for old cars, country music and NASCAR.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Pamela; sons, Lindsey (Marie) and Donnie; daughter, Angie Wyatt (Eddie); nephew, Butch Summey (Diane); stepbrother, Jim Nantz (Marty); six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Nina Kay McGraw, sister, Bessie Lee Summey and son-in-law, Bobby Hudgens.

Visitation was held 2:00-4:00 PM, Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel.

Cryptside service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Benny Green.
