Linda Ayers

Linda Gail Ayers, 72, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, September 11, 2017, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born October 13, 1944, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Doris Lawter and widow of G. T. Ayers. A member of the Salvation Army Church, Gail was employed with Powdercraft for 33 years and also served in the Salvation Army Thrift Store. Survivors include her daughter, Debra Ann Byars (Bobby) of Gaffney, SC; grandchildren, Thomas Byars (Tina) and Brandon Byars (Kayla), all of Gaffney, SC; great-grandchildren, Maggie Byars, Mollie Byars, and Maysen Byars; and sister, Sandra Seagraves (Roger) of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be 1:00-2:45 PM Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by Lt. Howard Tate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
