Linda Amick

Linda Prince Amick, 67, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born January 26, 1946, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Ralph DuPre Prince and Carolee Garrett Prince. Linda enjoyed her family and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She was employed with Spartan Foods, Advantica, and retired from Advance America. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her sons, Jamey Amick (Iris) of Spartanburg, SC, and Lee Amick (Jennifer) of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren, Glover Amick, Granger Amick, and Ila Kay Amick; step-grandchildren, Gradon and Jaya White; brothers, Bobby Prince (Allene) and Kenneth Prince (Faye), all of Spartanburg, SC, and Larry Prince (Pat) of Sumter, SC; and sisters, Barbara Stevens (Tommy) and Lanie Curry, all of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be 11:00 AM-12:00 noon Friday, June 21, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 PM, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Dr. E. Jennings Putnam and the Rev. Ray Bobo.
