Lillie Willis

Lillie Mae Willis, 95, of Spartanburg, died Sunday, November 1, 2009, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born June 25, 1914, in Gaffney, SC, she was the daughter of the late John and Lila Spencer Mabry and wife of the late Jesse Ray Willis. She was retired from Clifton Mill and a member of Cannon's Campground United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Corinne Dillard and Margaret McCullough; two sons, Joe Earl Willis and his wife Sarah, and Everette L. Willis and his wife Brenda, all of Spartanburg; nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and sixteen great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, Roger Dale Jackson. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Visitation will be 1:30-2:45 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Chape, conducted by the Rev Bill Lark. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
