Lillian Watson

Lillian F. "Jill" Watson, 86, of Spartanburg died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills. Born October 22, 1924 in London, England, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Esther Nye and wife of the late Hubert Lee Watson. Lillian was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church. Survivors include two sons, Thomas Watson of Spartanburg and Michael Watson; sister, Irene Wood of England; and two grandchildren, Paige and Jonathan Watson both of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by a son, Dallas Watson. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Robert Brown and the Rev. Charles Smith. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 901 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family is at the home of her son, Thomas Watson.
