Lillian Harrison

Lillian Fann Harrison, 94, of Spartanburg, died Friday, September 11, 2009, at Woodruff Manor. Born December 1, 1914, in Alcolu, SC, she was the daughter of the late Willie N. and Laura Spigner Fann and the wife of the late Leon E. Harrison. A 1933 graduate of Roebuck High School, she was retired from R. A. Earnhart Textile and Electrical Company. She was a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church and a member and past matron of Roebuck Chapter 216 of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include a son, Malcolm L. Harrison; two nephews, Larry Fann and his wife Louise, and Carl Fann and his wife Phyllis; two granddaughters; and two grandsons. Graveside services with Eastern Star rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2009, in Walnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Chris Snelgrove. The family will receive friends following the service at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, Cemetery Fund, 1335 Walnut Grove Road, Roebuck, SC 29376.
