Lewis Edward "Skip" Walsh, 83, formerly of Highland, IN, died Monday, May 23, 2016, peacefully at his home in Roebuck, SC, surrounded by his family. Born December 2, 1932, in Highland, IN, he was the son of the late, Loren Austin and Florence Moore Walsh. A retired truck driver, Skip was an avid car and truck enthusiast and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his fiancé, Annette Jordan; children, William Walsh (Melody) of South Bend, IN, Frank Walsh (Jenny) of Elkhart, IN, Brenda Gremillion of Tinley Park, IL, Dean Walsh and Brian Walsh (Nancy) both of Roebuck, SC; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Juanita Taylor Walsh; second wife, Mary Fran Grace Walsh and sister, Louise Kalshan. Visitation will be held Friday, May 27, 2016, at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 2828 Highway Ave in Highland, from 2:00 - 7:00 pm, a Celebration of Life service will follow at 7:00 pm. Burial will be private.
