Lester Demarest

Lester John Demarest, 87, of Inman, SC, died Friday, January 6, 2017, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born April 10, 1929, in Riverdale, NJ, he was the son of the late Lester John and Alice Traynor Demarest and husband of the late Irene Marion Demarest. A U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Demarest was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors include his children, Margaret Winch (William), Karen Wight (Marshall), Patricia Bowker (William), Keith Demarest (Lisa), David Demarest (Carol) and Craig Demarest (Jean); 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be private.
