Leroy Brewington

LeRoy Brewington, 79, of Spartanburg, died Sunday, February 19, 2012, at his home. Born December 24, 1932, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Luther and Lillie Pressley Brewington and reared by his grandparents, Clarence and Millie Brewington. Mr. Brewington was the former owner of Brewington Ambulance Company and employed later with Brewington Plumbing Company. Survivors include his wife, Peggy George Brewington; grandson, Lanndon Brewington of Tryon; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Alicia Brewington; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Steven LeRoy Brewington. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Steven H. Rhodes. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
