Leoma White

Leoma Elizabeth Billings White, 88, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, June 1, 2017. Born November 23, 1928, in Buffalo, SC, she was the daughter of the late Howard Carlisle Billings and Martha Marie Johnson Billings. She was married for 70 years to the late Thomas Clyde "TC" White Sr. Mrs. White was a member of Gravely Memorial United Methodist Church, the Friendship Sunday School Class, and Young At Heart. She loved sharing stories about her grandchildren and being a caregiver for the community. Survivors include her son, Thomas Michael "Mickey" White (Sharon) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Michael Todd White of Spartanburg, SC and Timothy Kevin White (Brandi) of Roebuck, SC; great-grandchildren, Hunter Blake White, Dustii Osteen, Addison Osteen, and Rhyan Osteen; sisters, Lucille Cooper of Barnwell, SC, Ila Lawson of Pauline, SC, and Judy Cathcart of Buffalo, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Charles Wayne White; sister, Virginia Harmon; and brother, Carroll Billings. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 PM Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Scott S. Gilmer. The family will receive friends following the service. Private burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
