Lena Caldwell

Lena Mae Holland Caldwell, 93, of Spartanburg, died Friday, April 20, 2012, at her home. Born May 13, 1918, in Valley Falls, SC, she was the widow of John Dean Caldwell, and daughter of the late Boyce Edwin and Inez Floyd Holland. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are her sons, John V. Caldwell and wife Carol of Spartanburg, Kenneth L. Caldwell and wife Debbie of Wellford, Clayton Douglas Caldwell of Spartanburg; daughters, Barbara Blanton, Beverly Joan Pye and husband Douglas, and Alisa Perrella and husband Rick, all of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Kim Blackwell and husband Tony, Johnny Caldwell and wife Carmen, Chad Pye and wife Holly, Paige Swink and husband Corey, Mark Pye, Candice Gosnell and husband Jim, Brittany Crissone and husband Bob, Kayla Perrella, Leah Dorman and husband Mitch; great-grandchildren, Corbin and Will Pye, Carson and Brady Swink, Katelin and Justin McGraw, Belue and Layla Crissone, Michael, Thomas, and Samantha Blackwell, Keely and Kody Gosnell, Amanda, Katelyn, and Elizabeth Marks, and Nicholas Dorman; brothers and sisters, Louie L. Holland, J. C. Holland, Amelia "Amy" Ross, and Sandra Humphries. She was predeceased by brothers, Roy Holland, Baby Wayne Holland; and sisters, Frances Watson, Carolyn Fowler, and Lois Eller. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 22, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Gerald Burnett and the Rev. Jason Lee.
