Lelleree Mason

Lelleree Johnson Mason, 89, of Newberry, SC, formerly of 1450 Maryland Avenue, Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at White Oak Manor-Newberry. Born May 19, 1923, in Landrum, SC, she was the wife, for 61 years, of the late Thomas Lyles Mason and daughter of the late General Marion and Carrie Burke Johnson. Mrs. Mason was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Lyles Mason and wife Kathy of Prosperity, SC, and Thomas Dale Mason and wife Anita of Blythewood, SC; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Saturday, November 24, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the Chapel, conducted by Pastor Scott Linnerud. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 4000 Parris Bridge Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. The family is at their respective homes.
