Lee Lasnier

Lee Fowler Gentry Lasnier, 96, of Inman and formerly of Glendalyn Avenue in Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, July 11, 2016. Born December 3, 1919, in Union County, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Tip Fowler and Leila Elizabeth Fowler. Mrs. Lasnier was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg and formerly employed at Southside Elementary School. Surviving is her son, Curtis Gentry of Decatur, GA. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Curtis H. Gentry; second husband, Paul Henry Lasnier; two sisters; and two brothers. A graveside service will be conducted at 9:00 AM Saturday, July 16, 2016, in Oakwood Cemetery, Oakwood Ave., Spartanburg, SC 29302, by the Rev. Bill Adams. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mobile Meals Service, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
