Leatrice Kirby Phillips, 84, of Pacolet, SC, died Monday, February 2, 2015, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born September 15, 1930, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Milon Lee and Fairbelle Glenn Kirby. She was the devoted wife of 33 years to the late George A. Phillips. Mrs. Phillips was a member of Montgomery Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a great cook who loved her entire family dearly. Survivors include her daughters, Kay Hildreth and her husband Raymond and Cheryl Camby and her husband Jennings, all of Pacolet; grandchildren, Kevin Blanton (Amanda) of Lake Keowee, SC, Jason Anderson (Kelly), Holly Sanford (Brandon), and Ginger Minton (Tim), all of Pacolet; great-grandchildren, Halee Sanford, Jared Sanford, Emily Anderson, Landon Blanton, Mason Blanton, and Case Minton; sister, Alma Toney and her husband Larry of Big Canoe, GA; sister-in-law, Carrie Jean Kirby of Pacolet; and special friend and caregiver, Rita Kirby of Pacolet. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Don Kirby. Visitation will be 1:45-2:45 PM Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Tina Thomas and the Rev. Ralph Jett. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
