Leanna Mcconnell

Leanna Coates Cash McConnell, 95, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, June 9, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born January 30, 1919, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Coates and Leanna Talmadge Baber Coates. Mrs. McConnell was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and retired from Hoechst Fibers. Surviving is her husband, Jeff "JC" McConnell of Spartanburg, SC; children, Janet Ward (Ken) and Sharon Ingraham, all of Spartanburg, SC, Allen Cash (Brenda) of Bremen, GA, and Kenneth Cash (Janice) of Cowpens, SC; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her first husband, George Henry Cash; daughter, Pamela Keenan; and son-in-law, Mike Keenan. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A cryptside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, June 13, 2014, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System Foundation, 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at their respective homes.
